About Us
The Country Centre provides a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for the benefit of all service users, supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
Activity sessions are based on four criteria; educational, recreational, practical and creative. Service users are supported in gaining life enhancing skills, within a caring and safe environment.

Our vision is to offer personalised care to our service users within a safe, positive environment that encourages friendship, respect and support for each other.
We want our service users to have access to and benefit from opportunities they may not have elsewhere, and feel they are encouraged and supported in participating in productive and meaningful activities.

Rudolf Steiner and Anthroposophy
Anthroposophy is a spiritual philosophy founded by Rudolf Steiner. It aims to investigate and codify the spiritual world with the same clarity and precison as the natural sciences achieve in their study of the physical world. Furthermore, its teachings are applicable in many areas of life including care, education, architecture, and medicine.

Anthroposophy holds that the human being is a complex whole comprised of both material and spiritual components. While mysticism lacks the rigour and precision required to satisfactorily investigate the nature of reality, and conventional science remains largely unwilling to consider explorations of the world within, anthroposophy stands between the two with its clear and holistic approach.
